With over 20 years of experience in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Michael Mathews has been helping children develop healthy, confident smiles since 2002. He is passionate about providing kid-friendly care and making every dental visit a positive experience.

Meet Dr. Michaela

Hello! I'm Dr. Michaela. You may recognize me as I've had the pleasure of working with some of you here during my time as a dental assistant on my summer breaks through college and dental school. I'm thrilled to be joining my father, Dr. Mike, and will start seeing patients in July.

About Me

Outside of the office, I enjoy staying active & watching sports, especially cheering on the lowa Hawkeyes! I'm excited to be a part of your child's dental journey and help them maintain a healthy, happy smile!

My Education

I'm from Mt. Pleasant, where I graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. After studying biology at Central College, I earned my DDS from the University of lowa where I am currently finishing my pediatric dental residency.

I'm dedicated to helping kids form healthy habits that will last a lifetime and look forward to working with your family to ensure your child's dental visits are positive, comfortable, and informative.
